Why it should be Motorola

So what if it’s a Lenovo company?

Talking about innovation? It was there. For more than 80 years, it was there. When automobiles were introduced to the globe, it was there. Adding the element of entertainment in this recent invention, it was there. Googling about the world’s first commercial portable cellular phone? It was there. It is still there.

Quite. Quite. In December 1941, the company stepped up production to ship thousands of radio units to the front lines in the battlefield. These radio telephones became standard equipment for infantrymen as well as for paratroopers. Yes, that much was the importance of this product. And to make facts and figures more interesting, here is another one: Motorola also provided the radio technology for Apollo 11’s moon landing.

Now when I’m busy on my sleek and powerful mobile reading all these, my mother usually scolds me. Yelling like, “You know when we were at your age we didn’t had these devices to spend hours on. There were chores to do…” Then I would show her the pic of a Walkie-Talkie. “Yes, that was used…I know. You know what, it was really something crucial at that time.” And she would go on and on. From that moment, I was really into this. Earlier I used to think that Motorola is just another phone company, then it became a smartphone company and now it’s booming!

Come 2017 and there you have it, the Moto Z2 Force. Leave all its specifications aside. Leave whatever the reviews are. Stare and interpret the following image:

When I heard about its launch, I thought, “Hmm, this is going to be a killer one! Should compete with OnePlus 5 and similar other rivals.” After the launch, I was like, “WHAT!?” Don’t you think that just because of the title of this story everything will be positive about this company. Come on, I’m not a Motorola addict or a Motorola employee/promoter! From consumer point of view I first analyse the product by its feature(s) and then focus on its pricing. Here you surely get heavy-duty Snapdragon 835, 4 gigs of RAM, 2 TB expandable storage and what not! We know smartphones today are nothing without a good long-lasting battery, this $720 smartphone comes with a 2730 mAh. Phew! I suppose that’s a lot! They even say ‘all day battery’ after this big number. Did they justified the price? Nope.

I’m in love with every Moto device that came prior to this. Z2 Force disappoints me and it feels sad. Motorola is under Lenovo, on of the top PC makers on this planet. Under Moto, they have delivered quality phones and standouts like Moto E4 and Moto G5 Plus. There’s still no company there who can make budget smartphones with features like near stock Android and quality system updates. Please, leave Xiaomi. What they lack here by releasing this model is adjusting the form factor of the smartphone. For the sake to make the Z2 Force thin, they compromised on battery! Shame. Okay, enough of this downsides. Shall I tell you some good reasons of why your next phone should be a Motorola? And not a Z2 Force…

4. Updates:- Every Android enthusiast love to update their device or those Play Store apps regularly. We really shouldn’t compromise on security. The risk is high and so are the number of hackers…Motorola comes to the rescue providing quick and latest security patches for your Android.
