Release and Relax.

When we learn to let go of the control we have of the world, we typically see that we were never in control anyway. We don’t know what will happen in the next minute, second, or hour but we have this illusion of control over what we think will happen. And we must learn to let go. We should take great pleasure in knowing that we don’t have to think that far ahead… let’s think about it. What if we had to schedule and plan out each moment of our lives we would be stressed! whew, I’m grateful.

We are living in a loving universe that loves us so much that it makes sure each moment we are taken care of. We might not know what will happen next but what we know for sure we’ll be alright. It’s time to release the control we have over our lives and allow the universe to do what it does because that’s what it’s going to do anyway.

We look at birds, squirrels, and bees do they look stressed? Absolutely not because they know that all their needs will be supplied. In today’s society, we have begun putting wants before our needs thinking that because our wants aren’t met that the universe isn’t supplying what is needed. But if we let go of all these external wants and look at what’s provided moment to moment we can begin to see and appreciate the universe for all its wonderful works.

I am grateful that in each moment even when I don’t know how a bill will get paid, or what meal I’m going to eat at the right moment the universe will provide exactly what I need. letting go of all bitterness and anger, stress and worry, free us from suffering. And when we breathe into the present moment knowing that we are good we can appreciate what reality is. Honestly, I know it’s hard because it’s still hard for me especially being a control freak but I know what’s best for me.

Let’s think back to when we were kids and going into our teenage years some of us didn’t know if we would make it through school, some of us didn’t know where our life would take us but look we survived. We made it through all the challenging parts of our lives, we go through ups and downs we been through fake friends and sucky jobs, oh yeah let’s not forget our bad decisions and LOOK AT THE UNIVERSE still loving us through it all.

We aren’t alone in this world and it’s about time we stop acting as if we dropped here out of the sky without a purpose attached to our lives. The same God that brought us here is the same God that will bring us through. Release and relax we are in good hands.
