Simba Supermarket announces that this survey link on social media is false

Simba Supermarket has urged its customers not to open a link to a survey circulating on social media. The fake link directs users to complete the survey and win some awards include money of 30,000 Rwfrs from its branch located in Kimironko sector, Gasabo district in Kigali.

This false information said that Simba Supermarket was celebrating its 10 year anniversary.

Verification

Samba Supermarket announced to its customers and the general public that it is not conducting any survey promotions and the link shared on social media platforms not right. It advised customers and the general public not to open that link.

Conclusion

People engaging in such activities can be tried in the context of fraudulent robbery which is punishable by law in Rwanda and is punishable by LAW Nº 75/2019 of 29/01/2020 on prevention and punishment of money laundering, financing of terrorism and financing of proliferation of weapons of mass distruction.
